The proposed project involves the reconstruction of the U.S. Route 22/County Road 30 (Delmont Rd.) and US Route 22/State Route 159 intersections near Lancaster, Ohio. The current intersections are proposed to be reconstructed, along with safety improvements at each intersection.
The meeting will be an open house-type format where attendees can view the alternatives that were studied, talk to project personnel, ask questions and provide written comments. The alternatives studied were alternative 1 (relocate SR 159 intersection to the west), alternative 2 (double roundabout at existing intersections), Alternative 3 (single 5-legged roundabout), alternative 4 (relocate CR 30 (Delmont Road) with a single point intersection with SR 159), and a no-build alternative where the existing conditions are maintained.
Homeowners, area business owners, drivers and other interested parties are encouraged to come learn about the project details, view the alternatives studied, and provide comment on the preferred intersection alternative.
Public comments can be submitted on our project page through April, 13, 2020, even if you are unable to attend the open house.
