In an effort to assist the state’s COVID-19 response, ODOT has approved a special blanket permit for heavy or oversized loads of food, non-alcoholic beverages, medical supplies, cleaning products, and other household goods.
Many of our office staff will be teleworking over the next few weeks in an effort to stop community spread of COVID-19. However, our construction and maintenance teams continue to actively work on vital projects across the state. We ask for your patience as we respond to your needs through our remote access.
With the mission to provide safe and easy movement of people and goods from place to place, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) supports the state highway system and promotes transportation initiatives statewide. As a more than $3 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction, and snow and ice operations.
Our new mobile-friendly site designed to get you in touch with the ODOT programs, projects and people of interest to you. We’re excited to get feedback on the direction we’re heading. Check out our new navigation options, improved search, and “My Location” feature to explore local info and help you find what you’re seeking. New content will be added daily as we finalize our move to this new format. We hope you’ll agree our new website is more attractive and easier to use than ever before.
“ODOT welcomes you to our new site. We hope you’ll agree this redesign offers a modern, intuitive, and responsive representation of Ohio’s vital transportation system. Our focus is to better address the needs of our key audiences – from the traveling public to our industry partners and stakeholders – by streamlining access to our projects, programs, processes, and people.”
